My Aussie partner said it’s the best pizza he’s ever had and wants to go back to athlone for it. High quality and affordable. The garlic bread was delicious and inhaled by our toddlers. The pub was nice and clean too which is always an added bonus

Brilliant spot. The pizza from Broke Boys Pizza is genuinely excellent proper artisanal pizza and easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The Christmas pizza in particular is unreal, with really good ham and turkey, great stuffing, and a lovely cranberry sauce.

The staff were sound and welcoming. I casually mentioned Christmas chips from a food van nearby and they surprised us with their own version, which was a really nice touch.

Warm, comfortable pub with great food and friendly people. Well worth a visit.

We came here for a trad set at Peddler's since we are visiting Ireland and ended up ordering pizza because they had good reviews. Everyone in our party enjoyed it, and I was happy to see how seriously they took my dairy allergy. (No vegan cheese, but a clean prep area and tools for my cheese free pizza.) We are back again tonight for the third time for our last night in Athlone.

We walked around an didn’t see this place until we got service at our hotel. They are inside another restaurant. You have to walk to the back of the Rustic Root Bar. Kids are allowed. Staffs great. Foods delicious. Hot honey for the win! Ask for more!!!!

This is top tier pizza in a very unassuming location.

Cant fault it, only disappointed I live in Wicklow and won’t get to come back any time soon.

I got the pepperoni with hot honey, unreal.

Perhaps a couple extra dip options like a blue cheese, Nduja or pesto would be good additions.
